The average individual would think that $35,000 is a lot of money, especially those who live in third world countries and even students who have not entered the workforce yet.
This may also be the yearly salary of some graduates who land their first job. So to have someone or an organisation defraud this large sum of money would definitely leave the victim feeling devastated.
A Vancouver man is $35K out of pocket!
Recently, I came across an article about a North Vancouver man who lost $35,000 in an overseas online scam.
This man had received three separate cheques along with instructions to wire transfer the large sum of money to an account in Germany, over a six month period. Does this sound suspicious to you? Unfortunately for this guy, these cheques were actually fake. To wire a large sum of money to a foreign country already sounds dodgy.

Research Is Important
If you are not sure about a business opportunity, it’s worth taking the time to do some research first like checking with the Better Business Bureau, and also using your judgement before entering into any business agreement.
Spending $35K on a business opportunity is a really big decision to make. There are so many things that I could do with this amount of money. So if I am going to put aside $35K, then I need to make sure that I am confident that my decision to give this money to someone else or an organisation is the right one and a wise choice.
There are so many business opportunities available that would cost a lot less than $35K.
